Job Title:                      Coach - Junior Varsity Athletic - High School

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Junior Varsity Coach will coach the team at their school. At the same time, the athletes shall receive instruction that will lead to the formation of moral values, pride in accomplishment, good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

 

This job description intends to give sufficient guidance to function. A coach shall exercise common sense and good judgment in cases not explicitly covered.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  

The Junior Varsity Athletic Coach is responsible to the Athletic Director and works cooperatively with the Head Coach.

 

SUPERVISION GIVEN: 

The Junior Varsity Coach supervises participating athletes, managers, and student assistants.
